Our main domain hidden link is currently showing a completely unrelated website selling jackets (Jack Wolfskin products).
This is unacceptable and damaging to our brand.
However, when accessing hidden link the correct website loads properly.
This clearly indicates a WPML routing or default language issue.
The WPML license has not been renewed, and we suspect this may have affected the root domain behavior. The homepage is now being indexed by Google as a jacket sales page, which is a serious issue for our SEO and reputation.
We need immediate clarification:
* Can an expired WPML license cause the root domain to display incorrect content?
* Why is the main domain showing unrelated product content?
* How can we immediately restore the correct homepage on the root domain?
* Will renewing the license resolve this instantly?
This situation is critical and harming our business presence online.
This is not expected, and we currently do not have any related issues reported. WPML itself would not redirect your website to another domain.
When I visit your site, it appears to be working as expected.
Note: I did notice something concerning — your site may have been compromised. The homepage contains hyperlinks pointing to a casino website, which is typical behavior when a site has been injected with malicious code.
Not renewing your WPML license would not cause this issue, and based on what we’re seeing, it does not appear to be related to WPML.
