This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The client's URL was showing a 404 error, which had been previously fixed but reoccurred.
Solution:
We removed the GTranslate configuration code from the .htaccess file, which resolved the issue. The client should now be able to see that the translated posts and pages are working correctly. Here are the steps we took:
