Hello,

I'm an experienced WPML user and have successfully translated several sites with WPML. However, I'm facing an issue with translating Ninja Forms on my site, eilandings.com. Although the page translations for Portuguese and Spanish were successful, the Ninja Forms remain untranslated. They are stuck with the status "waiting for the translator" even after I've completed 100% of the translation.

On the Translation page, after completing the translation, I get two options: "Translate" and "Resign." In the translations page, it shows "Waiting for the translator."

I've been following the standard procedure as indicated by WPML for creating multilingual forms using Ninja Forms and WPML:
Creating Multilingual Forms Using Ninja Forms and WPML
https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/creating-multilingual-forms-using-ninja-forms-and-wpml/

hidden link
If necessary, I can provide WP admin access for further assistance.

Thank you for your help.

Hi,

Thanks for contacting us.

Before your ticket is assigned to one of my colleagues, please allow me to walk you through some initial debugging steps. This will help speed up the support process.

The "Waiting for Translator" status usually appears due to not having any translator for the site. Would you please try adding a Translator for your site? Kindly check the documentation below for a better understanding.

- https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/how-to-set-up-local-translators-and-language-pairs/#adding-local-translators-through-translation-management

Please make sure to assign language pairs correctly for the Translator.

I hope the issue will be solved right after that. But, if you're still seeing the issue, it would be better if you could cancel the Job and resend the post for translation.

- Navigate to "WPML > Translation Management > Job" and cancel the translation job of that specific post you're having issues with.
- Then, made any small changes in the post in the default language and save them.
- If you notice the translation update icon, update the translation.

I hope it will help. But, if you still need assistance, feel free to let us know.

Best Regards,
Mateus

Hello Mateus,

Despite having completed all the requested steps and resetting the entire process about four times, the dashboard continues to indicate that both translations are "waiting for translator."

Could you please assist in resolving this issue, so the translations can be finalized and published?

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Best regards,

Pablo.

Hello,

Could you please increase your WP Memory limit to 256M? 128M is the minimum required by WPML.
Your current values are:

PHP Memory Limit 256M
WP Memory Limit 40M
Add this code to your wp-config.php to increase WP memory:

define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M');

Paste it just before:

/ That's all, stop editing! Happy blogging. /

Now, verify the current settings at WPML > Support > WordPress. Then complete the translation again.

These settings can be limited directly by your hosting provider, so I recommend you contact and ask them to modify them directly.
If you can get even higher values It would be great.

https://wpml.org/home/minimum-requirements/
Note: WPML needs a minimum WP Memory limit of 128M to work only under a minimal environment, which means, with a default theme and no other plugins installed.

If this will still not solve the issue, please let us know.

Best regards
Andreas
