Setup details:
WordPress with WPML
Elementor website
Each language uses its own domain on the live website (not subdirectory or parameter) - on the dev environment it was setup as subdirectory.
Main domain acts as the primary site
All domains are live and validated in WPML

Issue:
URL's on the different domains per language are not changed. It still points to the old structure. For example: hidden link where it should be: hidden link (this is just one example, hundreds of URL's are pointing wrongly this way)

WPML settings:
“Different languages in different domains” is enabled
All domains are validated
“Auto sign in and sign out users from all domains” is enabled
“Parse session arguments between domains through the language switch” is enabled (via POST)

What we have already checked and ruled out:
All caching disabled and cleared (server and application level)
.htaccess checked, rewrite rules are correct
siteurl and home correctly set for the main domain
No issues with internal links or content-level URLs
No redirect loops detected

Maiya's suggested fix did not fix it.

Thank you for contacting WPML support.

I need to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site—preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible—in order to be of better help. When you log in to leave your next reply, you will find the needed fields below the comment area. The information you will enter is private, meaning only you and I can see and access it.

Please provide the exact steps to replicate the issue.
