We have encountered an issue with WPML when using Classic Editor

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
In Classic Editor, when entering a tag name, the AJAX request (ajax-tag-search) does not return some tags in Ukrainian, even though they exist in the database and are correctly translated in WPML. This issue does not occur in Gutenberg.
Solution:
If you're experiencing this issue, we recommend you go to WPML -> Languages and check the box for

Adjust IDs for multilingual functionality

. This adjustment should resolve the issue by ensuring that the AJAX requests in Classic Editor correctly recognize the language settings.

Please note that this solution might be outdated or not applicable to your specific case. We highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. I checked again today and now when I try the link it get a message that it has been forgotten. Please share credentials to the staging site in your next reply and use the private fields ot send the credentials not the general response field.

Lauren WPML Supporter since 10/2015 Languages: English (English ) Timezone: America/New_York (GMT-04:00)	I deactivated all non WPML plugins and ran through the clean up steps in the troubleshooting section. I then created a test post named WPML test. Now, when I type Трамп in the tags, I can see more results. Can you confirm that it is working for you as well? If so, please start to enable the plugins one a time and check to see if the issue returns. If it does, let me know which plugin is conflicting.

Lauren WPML Supporter since 10/2015 Languages: English (English ) Timezone: America/New_York (GMT-04:00)	I double checked earlier in both languages multiple times, but now it's showing different again. And I am also seeing that some of the terms (for example, "Tags" was previously showing as translated and now it's in English). Did you happen to enable any plugins in between my last test and now? I also noticed that if you click "Choose from the most used tags", I am seeing the tag "Дональд Трамп" - are you seeing that there in both languages? I've confirmed I'm on the Ukrainian post and this is the link to the post I am testing on: hidden link

tarasL	I didn't do anything, I didn't touch any plugins. I created a news item and immediately checked the tag. I see Donald Trump in the tags I use most often.
