Hi, I just want to inform you that the person in our office responsible for the website as left the company and I will be your contact for now. My name is Philippe. We've also made password changes to the hosting, wordpress and wpml accounts. Let me know if you need any of theses to continue the troubleshoot. A more capable person than me will take over the website development very shortly. Please keep me informed of the progress in the bug resolution. Also, I've read in the chat that a secure space is needed for password exchanges, please detail how to send the info if not throught this chat.
Thank you
Thank you for updating me. Let me briefly summarize what's been discussed already.
WPML has a problem in its database, that was caused due to a faulty migration between development and live environments. I've found and tested a solution, that unfortunately did not work for the person I was previously talking to. I've asked this person to restore a backup on hidden link, so I could escalate the issue to our development team.
I need access to hidden link again (I tried logging in, but the login page is refreshing and not taking me to the dashboard). Please share access again.
The required fields can be found below the comments section. The information you enter is private, i.e. only you and I can see it and have access to it.
- If you do not see the wp-admin/FTP fields, this means your post and site login details are being made PUBLIC. DO NOT post your website details if you do not see the required wp-admin/FTP fields. If you do not, ask me to enable the private box. The private box looks like this:
I haven't been able to access the website. Upon inserting the credentials and clicking on "Log In", the page just refreshes. Can you please check what might be causing that?
I was able to login this time, thanks for verifying. Nonetheless, I encountered a 500 error. I couldn't fix it, as the FTP credentials aren't working (it seems that the server is blocking my access).
I deeply apologize for the back and forth, but since I don't have a copy of your website, I need you to restore the staging version, once again. I'm waiting for your feedback.
Hi, I will ask the responsible to reload the staging version and let you know when it is done. We have currently a bigger issue with WordPress this morning, so we will fix this first. It may take a day or 2 to get back to you.
Thanks
