Problem:
You are trying to translate pages using the WPML plugin, but when you click "translate" on a job, it opens a blank page. Additionally, it incorrectly shows "waiting for the translator" and when you attempt to edit a page, it automatically accepts the changes and moves to the next page.
Solution:
We tested the translation process with your user account and confirmed that the Advanced Translation Editor opens correctly. Here is a step-by-step guide to ensure it works for you:
1. Click the "translate" button on the job you wish to work on.
2. Ensure that the URL it opens is similar to https://e.ate.wpml.org/dashboard?id=35416724&language=en.
3. Try the process again to see if the issue persists.

Tell us what you are trying to do?

Hi, I'm simply trying to translate pages, so going to translations and clicking "translate" on a job. Opens a completely blank page. I'm also wondering why it says "waiting for the translator". Also, I can review the pages translated automatically but when I click "Edit" it accepts it instead and goes to the next page.
So at the moment, your plugin is not working at all for me.

could you please check if you have the specific language pair (EN -> DE) for your user under "WPML -> Translation Management -> Translators" defined?

Hi Marcel, thank you very much! Yes, I did, see screenshot below. I found another thread in this forum where the problem was that the translator user had no first name defined but that's not the case here.

Hi,

I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take a better look at the issue. It would be better to a testing site where the issue is replicated.

You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it.

Maybe I'll need to replicate your site locally. For this, I’ll need to temporarily install a plugin called “Duplicator” or "All in One WP Migration" on your site. This will allow me to create a copy of your site and your content. Once the problem is resolved I will delete the local site. Let me know if this is ok with you.

-Please make a backup of site files and database before providing us access.
-If you do not see the wp-admin/FTP fields this means your post & website login details will be made PUBLIC. DO NOT post your website details unless you see the required wp-admin/FTP fields. If you do not, please ask me to enable the private box. The private box looks like this:

thanks for the access. With your user, I can click the button and it opens the Advanced Translation Editor correctly. I recorded a video to see the process here: hidden link.
