Hello,

Welcome to the WPML support forum. We will do our best to help you to resolve the issue.

Please visit WPML>>String Translation after a site backup and enable the *Look for strings while pages are rendered* option of *Auto register strings for translation* section(on the bottom of the screen). Then visit the frontend pages and check whether the issue exists or not. This option will be disabled in a couple of hours automatically. But will help us to track the issue in similar cases.

Please refer to this documentation for more details - https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/string-translation/finding-strings-that-dont-appear-on-the-string-translation-page/#auto-register-strings-for-translation

Hello,

Which field is the one that disappears? Also when you say disappears does the translation dissapear or the field altogether?

The feature Look for strings while pages are rendered will indeed greatly impact the performance of your website and is not meant to be on at all times.

The whole city field that is shown in the attached screenshots disappears not only the translation or the field name

I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to test the issue.
(preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible)

**Before we proceed It is necessary to take FULL BACKUP of your database and your website. Providing us with access, you agree that a backup has been taken **

I often use the Duplicator plugin for this purpose: http://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/
You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply.
The information you enter is private which means only you and I have access to it.

NOTE: If access to the live site is not possible and the staging site does not exist please provide me with a duplicator package created with the duplicator plugin.

Thank you,
Bobby

In the backend, when I go to WooCommerce->Settings->Checkout -> Billing I see 5 fields named City, which field is the one you are using in the front end ?

Thank you, if possible please provide me with the steps you took to set this up as I am not familiar with you this is all configured for this custom add-on field in order for us to further review.

Sharing a screencast or screenshots would be great as well to help us understand better.

As you can see I've added the filed in the billing fields section and you can find in one of the screenshots on the right the condition to display this field based on the country field value and the you can find the field options, Everything is alright in the English page but the field dissapears and loses it's functionality in the arabic version
