This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client has a bilingual website and has updated the text in WooCommerce completed order emails. The new text shows correctly in the WooCommerce dashboard under Settings - Emails, but clients receive the old version. In WPML String Translation, the old text still appears for the original language, while the new text is incorrectly displayed as the translation for the second language.
Solution:
1. Navigate to WPML -> String Translation.
2. Select the email strings.
3. Delete them.
4. Go to WooCommerce -> Settings -> Emails tab.
5. Edit the email.
6. Click the save button.
7. Click Translations.
8. Translate the strings.
9. Verify if the issue is resolved.

Hi,

I have a bilingual website (main language Italian, second language English) and I have updated the text in my completed order emails roughly a year ago and they show correctly in my WooCommerce dashboard under Settings - Emails.

However, my clients keep receiving the old version and I have checked and seen that under WPML strings the text that is displayed for the original language is still the old one (and the one that is being sent to my clients), while the new and correct version (still in the main language) is being displayed as the translation in the second language even if I set it correctly a number of times. Why is the text in the main language displaying correctly on WooCommerce settings and appearing in its wrong and old version in WPML strings?
