Hi,

I was able to recover your staging site by reactivating all the plugins. Now all the site's pages work. I was also able to identify the culprit and fix it. The problem is within the translated HTML Blocks. The steps you should take are the following.

1. Edit the block in Hungarian.

2. Use the admin Language Switcher and switch to edit the block in English. (Don't use WPML's Translation Editor to edit the translation.)

3. Click the Attempt recovery button.

4. Edit the block and find the links with the problem. For example, the link will look like this: /?product_cat=_100x915

5. Replace the link with the correct and full English like. For example:
hidden link

6. Click the Save button on the link and then click the Save button for the entire page.

7. Check the frontend in English and see that it is corrected.

While trying it on your site, I also recorded a video for you. Please watch it here:
hidden link

Please let me know how it goes.

Regards,
Itamar.

Hi,

Please see my previous reply with all the details on how to correct this problem. I also included a video for you. I'm sorry, but I can't fix every link for you. This is something you need to do yourself.

Regards,
Itamar.

Thank you very much for your time and help!
The video too!

Is there no way to properly transfer these html blocks to the other languages (English, German) so that we can use automatic translation?

I know this solution, but we don't want to solve it this way if we don't have to.

Hi,

I've tried to find an easier solution to help you fix this problem. However, I was not successful. While trying things on your staging site, I got a 503 error many times. Please see the attached screenshot. It made things more complicated to investigate this issue. In any case, here is what I tried.

1. In HTML Blocks -> All Blocks, I switched to the English language by using the admin Language Switcher.

2. I sent the Abrasive belts block to the trash section. And then permanently deleted it from the trash section.

3. I edited the original Csiszolószalagok block in Hungarian and saw the plus icon next to English, which means the deletion worked.

4. I clicked the plus icon next to English and got the Advanced Translation Editor.

5. All the translations were there because of the Advanced Translation Editor memory feature.

6. I completed the translation.

However, unfortunately, as I said, this didn't help. As a result, I suspect the problem lies in the site's DB. However, I don't see an easy fix for this because each link is different. At least not an easier fix than the manual workaround I already suggested.

The next thing I can suggest is taking a copy of your site and escalating it to our second-tier supporters. If you want to proceed this way, please allow me to take a copy of your site. For this, I must install a plugin like Duplicator or All-in-One Migration. Please let me know if you agree.

Please be aware that we'll do our best to provide a fix for this, but we can't promise it.

Regards,
Itamar.

Hi,
we have a new login url: dtgrinder.com/esphg

We changed the html blocks from Gutenberg to Elementor and the WPML translator decodes the links nicely and translates them automatically, but the same error still appears on the frontend.

Hi,

Was this a change you made on the production site hidden link?
I ask this because I don't see this change on the staging site hidden link, which you gave me access to.
Until now, you have never provided access to your production site, and the access details you provided do not work from there. I get this error:
Hiba: wpml felhasználónévhez megadott jelszó nem megfelelő.

If you want me to take a copy of your production site and esclate this issue to our second-tier supporters, please give me access to it. To take a copy of your site, I must install a plugin like Duplicator or All-in-One Migration. Please let me know if you agree. I'm enabling a private message for the following reply.
