Background of the issue:
I am trying to install WPML on a fresh WordPress site, including WPML + String translations, and encountered an error. WordPress database error: [Unknown column '' in 'where clause'] SELECT COUNT(*) FROM wp_icl_strings strings WHERE strings.string_package_id IS NULL AND strings.value != "" ORDER BY id DESC

Symptoms:
Fatal error: Uncaught TypeError: WPMLStringTranslationInfrastructureStringCoreQueryFindAllStringsCountQuery::execute(): Return value must be of type int, null returned in /bitnami/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/wpml-string-translation/StringTranslation/Infrastructure/StringCore/Query/FindAllStringsCountQuery.php:28. There has been a critical error on this website.

Questions:
How can I resolve the database error related to the unknown column?
What steps should I take to fix the fatal error in the WPML String Translation plugin?

Hello there,

Thank you for contacting WPML support. I'd be happy to assist you on this issue.

Does the issue started to happen after updating to the latest version?

To debug this issue further, I would need to check your site settings once, for this I would need temporary access (wp-admin and ftp) to your site.

So could you please provide me with those details, you will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply.
