Hello,

Pages are supposed to get translated only with the WPML Translation Editor of with the WordPress Editor, but not with String Translation.

Could you please provide us more background about how the content was created?

Are you using Elementor? Are you maybe using a Custom Elementor Addon from a plugin Ultimate Addons for Elementor?

Best regards
Andreas

Hello There,
I hope you're doing well. I've taken over this ticket and would be happy to assist you in this matter.

Please note that the "wpultimo" plugin is not currently featured in the WPML compatibility directory, which you can verify here: https://wpml.org/plugin/. This means there might be compatibility issues when using "wpultimo" with WPML.

Despite this, after reviewing the documentation for the Checkout form by wpultimo(hidden link), it seems it is possible to create as much as the Checkout form as per needs. So, there are two approaches to translating the form contents:

Approach 1: Create a Form in Arabic:
Start by using wpultimo to create a checkout form with content entirely in Arabic, ensuring all contents in the form are in Arabic and the form is configured similarly to the default form. After completion, copy the shortcode for this Arabic form.

Next, navigate to "WPML > String Translation" and look for the shortcode attached to the English version of the form. If found, use the "+" icon to input the shortcode of the Arabic checkout form as its translation.

This method ensures the Arabic form you created is displayed when the Arabic version of the site is accessed.

Approach 2: Translate Static Strings via String Translation:
If the form contains static texts that cannot be changed, these static strings can be translated through the String Translation feature. Following the steps provided should facilitate this process.

- Please go to WPML > Theme and Plugins Localization.
- Select the "Astra" theme and click on the "Scan" button
- Once the Scan is completed, please go to "WPML > String Translation"
- Search for the text in the header that you want to translate. If that appears in the result, click on the "+" icon under the language flag and translate the text.

For more details on using String Translation, please check this guide: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/string-translation/

However, if you're unable to locate the strings, you may need to search in the Admin screen and register the texts for translation, by following the instructions mentioned here: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/string-translation/finding-strings-that-dont-appear-on-the-string-translation-page/#translate-admin-and-settings-strings

I hope you'll be able to translate the form by taking any of the mentioned approaches. But, if you need further assistance, feel free to let me know and I'll try my best to assist.

You can also reach out to the wpultimo support team regarding if there are any other ways to translate the contents. You can also request them to join the go global program of WPML to make their plugin compatible with WPML. For more details about the program, please check this link: https://wpml.org/documentation/support/go-global-program/

Best regards,
Prosenjit
