I did a translation today for this page: hidden link and this is the error I got:
Sent for translation
WPML cannot send some for the content to translation
Some of the content that you selected for translation includes fields that are encoded. Translators will not be able to work on this kind of content, so we removed it from the job.
To fix this problem, please contact our support team and describe this issue.

Thank you for contacting WPML support.

This issue has been escalated and will be handled by our development team.

In the meantime, please use the following workaround to translate the pages:

Hi Andrey,

OK thanks

in reference to the workaround above, if I do this:

"Workaround
Until this issue is resolved, you can avoid the problem by:

It also works if your content is being translated with Translate Everything Automatically."

will it translate my entire website as I do not want some sections like Post to be translated?

thanks

also I just paid for an updated translation for about 40 pages and now they appear again in the needed updated translation, why?

The Translate Everything Automatically mode means that WPML will automatically translate your entire site.
You can choose between:
• Translate Everything – translates all existing content and any new content automatically.
• Translate Everything – only new content – translates only content created from that point forward.

also I just paid for an updated translation for about 40 pages and now they appear again in the needed updated translation, why?

If those pages are marked as “translation needs update,” it means that something was changed in the original (default language) version after the translation was completed.

Even a small modification — such as editing text, updating a custom field, changing a widget, or modifying metadata — can trigger WPML to mark the translation as needing an update.

OK thanks

I don't want to do that then, I will choose this option:

"Sending content for translation directly from the post edit screen, or
Sending content from the post list screen using the + icon."

does that mean in Elementor, I go to all pages and on the pages I have to update, I click on each of the arrows going in circle to do the update manually for each pages, which means if I have 6 translations per page (french, italian, german etc.) I need to click on each of them one by one for more than 60 pages?

in regards to the 60 + pages, I will be charged €81.63 (I started the updated translation process today only and did not have any fees before that), the translation did not work as all pages are the same, perhaps removing the OTGS plugin and reinstalling it did something to it, by the way I still cannot activate it (Version 3.1.18) after I uploaded the new files (see discussion with AI for this), what should I do?

how can I get the credit for this as I need to redo the entire process but now manually and actually I have more than 60 pages to do so for updates I did in the past few weeks?
the system now want to charge me an additional €58.38 !

thanks

Thank you for your feedback.

To keep everything organized and avoid mixing multiple issues in the same ticket, I’ve created a separate support thread for this matter.

We can continue the discussion there:

I’ll assist you further in that ticket.
