Hi Nicolas,

Thanks for your update. Important is that the site is up and running now - thanks.

What I find worrying is that your supporters asks me to put this on the page, and as a result - some time later, it adds no-index randomly at our site.

This has been super frustrating because google will discard our page ranking, my guess is that we lost huge amount of ranking because of this.

I would like to know why this was suggested in the first place, with the result of noindex.

Hello Simon,

The first time you mentioned that this code was recommended by one of our supporters, I checked your tickets history and couldn't find a ticket related to this. Maybe it was during a chat conversation? Do you have more details?

To give you more details: What we found is that, due to that XML configuration, some strings like 'noindex-page' and 'noindex-post' were registered in your DB. Even after I removed the configuration from your custom XML last time, the strings and names of admin strings were still in your DB and we needed to clean it up.
