[Closed] WPML causes error in Woocommerce checkout

Background of the issue:
When placing an order in the checkout page of Woocommerce, there is an error: "There was an error processing your order. Please check for any charges in your payment method and review your order history before placing the order again." This error disappears when we disable the WPML String Translation plugin. Woocommerce tells us to report the error here.

You can try it yourself by placing an order (this is a test site, with a sandbox payment option)

Symptoms:
Error message.
We have disabled all other plugins, none cause this error only the WPML String Translation
