Hi there,

Indeed, there was something missing in the setup of that TST environment.
Should now be OK.

On the other hand, may I ask kindly you to speed up your investigation.
Our client is getting very angry. You have to know that this is the Belgian federation of basketball and their national teams, so quite a serious organization with a lot of exposure :/

Somehow the *icl_sitpress_settings* key of the wp_options table is altered. It is very shot. There are chances that the key was deleted. Normally it contains more values.

So one request. It appears that it was originally set in French as the default language and Dutch as the secondary language. Please configure WPML like in the past on your staging site and let us know if it helped or not.

Hi there,

No, that does not solve the issue. I actually tested reconfiguring the whole stuff even before contacting you. Even after re-configuring, I still have the message saying there is an issue, and contents of all languages remain completely mixed up.

To be honest, I'm not sure it's only that variable that has an issue, it seems the link between contents and their translation is also completely lost (and that's why I actually contacted you).

I need stronger support and serious solution proposal, guys!

Thank you for the feedback. I am getting the expected results in the staging site for the News Posts after setting the *Translatable show only translated items* option for the *News* post type from WPML>>Settings>>Post Type Translation.

Hi,

Since it seems to work in the TST environment, I would like to apply the changes in PROD in order to make it work there too. Could you tell me what would be the steps ? Can I configure WPML first or do you need to execute/change something on your own first ? Please let me know.

Thank you for the updates. Happy to know you are getting the expected results in the staging site now.

Please try the following steps on the live site after a full site backup{mandatory} and make sure the bug exists or not.

1) Configure WPML like the past
2) Visit WPML>>Settings>>Post Type Translation
3) Set *Translatable show only translated items* option for the relevant custom post types like *News*
4) Save the changes
5) Scroll down to WPML>>Settings>>Taxonomy Translation
6) Set *Translatable show only translated items* option for the relevant custom taxonomies
7) Save the changes
8) Visit Settings>>Permalinks, resave the settings
9) Clear all types of caches

Hi Bigul,

Thank you for all these steps. I did all of them and it seems that it worked.

Now I still have issues mentionned in the trouble shooting page:
- in PROD : hidden link
- in TST : hidden link

I don't really know what to do with that. Could you help me?

Also could you tell me how to configure the plugin to always have the language displayed in the URL ("fr" by default)?
