Background of the issue:
I am trying to push the site from one environment to another. When I do this, the 'WPML detected a new address for this site' message appears. I confirm that the site is a copy, share credits, and input the connection key. It says I'm ready to translate, but the issue persists. Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link
Symptoms:
The 'WPML detected a new address for this site' message keeps appearing in a loop, even after confirming the site is a copy and inputting the connection key. The message shows the same URL for both the previous and current site address.
Questions:
Why does the 'WPML detected a new address for this site' message keep appearing in a loop?
How can I resolve the issue to continue working on translations?
While one of my teammates takes care of your ticket, I will provide you with the first debugging steps.
1. From either your primary or secondary domain, go to WPML → Support and click on the Troubleshooting link.
2. On the WPML Troubleshooting page, click the button labeled Force-enable WPML’s Advanced Translation Editor.
3. Now, you can use WPML’s Advanced Translation Editor to add, edit, and manage translations on both domains. You should also not see the migration wizard anymore.
