This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is seeing a message from WPML indicating that a new address for the site has been detected, which is a non-existent URL.
Solution:
We suspect that the URL might have been associated with a staging/testing environment or an alias created by the hosting panel during the initial WordPress setup. This can occasionally happen due to server changes or updates. We recommend the following steps:
1. Create a full backup of your website.
2. Select "NO" when prompted by the WPML notice regarding the new address.
This should resolve the issue and the notice should no longer appear.

You're displaying a message for me that "WPML detected a new address for this site", but the url you are showing me is non-existent - hidden link.

Please fix this asap.

Many Thanks and Kind Regards,
Ivan

Hi Ivan.

As it contains sg-host and also your name in the URL, my guess is that the specific address shown there might have been a staging/testing environment or an alias that the hosting panel created automatically, in the initial step when WordPress was set up on the server.

Sometimes (although pretty rare to be honest), clients can see something like this due to server changes/updates. Otherwise, it would be impossible for WPML to just invent a domain to show up in the notice.

My recommendation is to please create a full website backup first and then select "NO" - the second option.

Things should work fine and you shouldn't see that notice any longer.

Please let me know how things go.
