Problem:
The client was unable to translate a page and product using WPML due to an operational issue with Amazon Web Services (AWS) that impacted several key services, including those used by WPML.
Solution:
We monitored the situation closely after identifying that the issue was due to an AWS outage affecting services in the N. Virginia region. Once AWS services were restored, we informed the client that they should attempt to resend the content for translation. If you're experiencing this issue, we recommend checking the AWS service health status here: https://health.aws.amazon.com/health/status

Please note that this solution might be outdated or not applicable to your case. We highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the problem persists, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum.

Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate a page and product using WPML. The issue can be seen on this page: hidden link.

Symptoms:
WPML has attempted to translate this page three times and has been unsuccessful. I received a message stating to contact WPML Support.

Questions:
Why is WPML unable to translate the page after multiple attempts?
How can I resolve the translation issue with WPML?

We are currently experiencing an operational issue with Amazon Web Services (AWS) that is impacting several key services. The disruption primarily affects resources hosted in the N. Virginia region, resulting in certain services being impaired or unresponsive.

Our team has already engaged AWS Support and requested urgent mitigation of the issue. We are actively monitoring the situation and will continue to provide updates as they become available.
