This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: The client was unable to edit pages using Elementor while WPML was active. The Elementor editor was continuously loading. Solution: We discovered that the issue was due to some invalid content in the Elementor header. Our solution involved making edits and resaving the header template. This action resolved the issue on our test site. We also activated the String Translation plugin to ensure better compatibility. If you're experiencing this issue, we recommend checking for any invalid content in your Elementor templates and resaving them. Additionally, ensure that the String Translation plugin is activated.
Please note that this solution might be outdated or not applicable to your specific case. We highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the problem persists, please open a new support ticket.
This is the technical support forum for WPML - the multilingual WordPress plugin.
Everyone can read, but only WPML clients can post here. WPML team is replying on the forum 6 days per week, 22 hours per day.
Tell us what you are trying to do?
Trying to edit pages with Elementor and can only open them by disabling WPML.
Elementor stays in loading all the time. WPML is uptodate and Elementor is the 3.7.3 version and Elementor Pro is the 3.7.5. I downgraded them when trying to find solution.
WP Rocket 3.12.1.1 and no Cloudflare
Is there any documentation that you are following?
Checked several tru=oublshooting pages. Both Elementor and WPML is having the needed memory
This isn't a known issue and could you please share temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.
Also, please list the steps to replicate the issue.
Your following answer will be private, which means only you and I have access to it.
✙ I would need your permission to de-activate and re-activate Plugins and the Theme and to change configurations on the site if required. This is also a reason the backup is critical.
Can the issue be something with DNS? Should there be crisscrosschina.com or ailvxiong.cn in the picture 3 marked with yellow? This is from Godaddy DNS settings
I've updated both Elementor plugins for you but I'm still getting the errors below in your server debug log. The error message below points to your Elementor Pro plugin and could you please check with the plugin author? They should be able to assist you further with this.

Hi. Got this from Elementor and have deleted and re-installed the WPML string translator without success.
From Elementor
On further investigation, it was noticed that the critical error on your site was caused due to hte WPML String Translation Addon.
SS: hidden link
Please try deleting this addon and re-install it and see if that helps. If it does not, help, I would recommend you to contact the WPML support for further investigation on the issue.
I have deactivated this addon now. Please check if the site is working fine with Elementor and WPML at your end as well.
Also cannot edit Elementor pages if WPML Multilingual CMS is active. Elementor stays in "loading" all the time. If using Elemntor safe mode or deactivating WPML I can access Elementor edit
Sorry, we would need a site snapshot to continue with the troubleshooting. Or can we have your permission to create a snapshot on our own?
We usually recommend the free Plugin “Duplicator” for this purpose.
If you already know how Duplicator works ( https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/),please skip the following steps and just send me the archive file you downloaded.
If the file is too large (more than 400M), please use the Duplicator file filters to remove the cache, the wp-uploads directory, the media, and the archive files.
Send me the link to the archive file (you probably want to use Google Drive, Dropbox, or similar services, as the snapshot file will be quite big).
Your next reply will be private, which means that only you and I will be able to see it and have access to it.
You can paste the link to the file there.
Once the problem is resolved I will delete the local site.
I've checked and it works fine now. I can edit pages with Elementor Editor as shown in this screen recording hidden link . Did you sort it out yourself?
Same issue occured again. Cannot open Elementor pages
