Background of the issue:
Good morning,

I'm working with WordPress and Elementor Pro, and I’ve set up a website in four languages.

Now here’s the thing: I can’t seem to get the language switcher to show up in the header.

I’ve tried two different approaches:

First, I added a language switcher through WPML > Languages by assigning it to a menu. This method has always worked fine for me on other websites—but not this time.

Second, I tried using the Elementor WPML Language Switcher widget. But when I place it in the header and try to save, I get a 500 server error.

So… what am I missing or doing wrong here?

Symptoms:

Questions:
Why is this ticket closed and the issue is still there?
