I am having issue where I get my pages and acf fields translated and in the advanced translation editor I can see that there is a translation provided and saved, but when I check the page, there is nothing on it. When I open the translation using the standard wordpress editor, the fields are also blank.
It is clear that it is being translated since I can see the fields and their translation in the advanced editor, but why are they not saving to the page or displaying?

Hello,
Is the translation completed?
Could you please provide me with the permalink of the original content that is having issues with applying the translation?
IMPORTANT:
Make sure that at WPML > Settings > Post Types Translation, the "ACF Field Groups" are set to "Not translatable".
If you are registering the field groups by using PHP, please let me know.
In case you register the field groups inside ACF, make sure that you do not have any duplicated field groups, which might occur if those were translated earlier.
Make sure that inside each field group in ACF, the translation preference "Same fields across languages" is used.
Then edit and save the original content and apply the translation again.
If this does not solve the issue, then this might be an issue related to how the fields are displayed on the Frontend. I understand that you are calling the files in PHP inside your custom theme?
So it is the entire site, but one of the pages I have been trying to troubleshoot this issue with is: hidden link
Yes, I have done all that you have stated. This is the fourth site I have put the plugin in. Each time there is difficulty with integrating the translations. But this last site, despite not having changed anything in development, is just refusing to display anything for translation.
The gravity form displays as english, despite showing it is translated in the advanced editor. The content of the page can be seen in the advanced editor, but not displaying on the page. I tried syncing the menus and translating those, but the menu items do not display in the translation.
ACF is configured. I tried both "Same fields across languages" and "Expert" where I went through each individual ACF field and ensured the translation property was correct. I have tried altering content, updating, resending for translation. I have deleted translations and retried.
I have all the settings for post types (there are no custom post types) set as translatable.
Memory limit is at recommendation.
The fields are displayed using the same method that the other sites do, and corresponds to ACF's documentation: <?php echo get_field('field'); ?>
Like I said, in the advanced editor, the translation is seen. But when I go to the wordpress editor and look at the translation, all fields are blank. And of course, when I try to view the translation on the frontend, I see the layout of where the content is supposed to be, but there is no text whatsoever.

Hello,
I'd like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to the website to investigate the issue further.
You'll find the necessary fields below the comment section if you log in to leave the next reply. The information you provide will be private, meaning only you and I will be able to see and access it.
IMPORTANT
Please be sure to create a backup of the website and database before granting us access.
If you don't see the "wp-admin / FTP" fields, your login credentials for the post and website will be set to "PUBLIC." Do NOT publish the information unless you see the required wp-admin / FTP fields.
I may need to install a plugin called "All In One WP Migration" to create a copy of the website on which I can investigate the problem more thoroughly.
I would also be very grateful if you could provide a staging site on your server for this purpose.
If you have any questions about creating such a staging site, please contact your hosting provider. Please ensure that WPML is also registered on this staging site at https://wpml.org/de/account/websites/.
If you are unable to provide such a copy of the website for testing, please let me know on this ticket.

I just had a meeting with the client of this website and they have decided not to go with the advanced translation editor. They much prefer the legacy wordpress editor functionality; and it seems like the issue with translation comes from the advanced editor. So for now, I believe this is resolved simply because we will not be using the broken functionality.

If you decide to use the WordPress Editor, make sure to visit any original page or post and, inside the right sidebar, set the translation method to "WordPress Editor".
A dialog will appear which allows you to set the same translation method for the current content, all content of the same type, or all the site's content.
ACF Field Groups should be set to "Different fields across languages" in this case. The Field groups should not be translated and must be set to "Not translatable" inside WPML's Post Types Translation settings.
