Background of the issue:
I am trying to ensure that the home page on my website, hidden link, displays correctly when switching languages using the WPML plugin.

Symptoms:
The home page in a different language is not the same as the English version; it is displaying a different page.

Questions:
Why is the home page different when switching languages using WPML?
