This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is experiencing error messages(WPML Plugin cannot connect to WPML.org) in the WordPress backend related to WPML.
Solution:
1. Navigate to Plugins > Add New > Commercial tab.
2. Click on the "Check for updates" button to force a connection to wpml.org. If no errors occur, the notice should disappear or can be considered a false positive.
3. If the issue persists, it may be due to a conflict with firewalls. In this case, whitelisting WPML URLs is recommended. For more details, please refer to the following documentation:

Hi Leonard,

Welcome to the WPML support forum. I will do my best to help you to resolve the issue.

Please visit Plugin>>Add new>>Commercial tab and click on the button "Check for updates", this will force the connection to wpml.org. If you don't get any error, the notice should disappear, or you can consider it a false positive.

In some cases, it may appear due to conflict with firewalls. So you may need to whitelist WPML URLs. Please check the following documentation for more details.

Thanks, Bigul. I checked and it says "WPML is registered on this site. You will receive automatic updates until May 31, 2024. On a similar note: what is Toolset?
