This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You are trying to translate a post using WPML, but the translation option is not visible in the backend. Both original and translated posts are listed together instead of being separated as translations.
Solution:
We recommend ensuring that your Posts are set as translatable in WPML. You can do this by navigating to WPML → Settings → Post Types Translation. For more detailed guidance, please visit Translating Custom Posts.

If this solution does not resolve your issue, or if it seems outdated or irrelevant to your case, we highly recommend opening a new support ticket. Additionally, please check related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verify the version of the permanent fix, and confirm that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate a post using WPML on my site hidden link. I previously opened a ticket about this issue, but it was closed. I can provide access to the site if needed. Translation with pages works fine, but the problem is only with the posts. The post listing has no translation option and it is listing translations and separate posts together.

Symptoms:
WPML posts not working nor visible in the backend. Post translations are not visible in the post editor and the posts list. The original posts and translated posts are all in the same list instead of as translations. Error log: {"url":"hidden link","requestArgs":{"method":"POST","body":[{"source_language":"en","target_languages":["es"]}]},"status":"auth_error"}

Questions:
How can I make WPML posts visible in the backend?
Why are post translations not visible in the post editor and the posts list?
How can I resolve the authentication issue in the error log?
