Background of the issue:
I am trying to use WPML to translate the slug for a custom taxonomy. I attempted to save the translation in WPML / Settings, but it doesn't seem to save. I also tried using WPML / String Translation, which does the job, but the changes don't reflect in the Settings or on the frontend. See attachment to understand.

Symptoms:
WPML / Settings / Slug translation for custom taxonomy doesn't save the translation. WPML / String Translation does the job, but it doesn't update in the Settings and frontend. I expected to see the slug translation saved, but it was not saved.

Questions:
Why doesn't the slug translation save in WPML / Settings?
Why don't the changes made in WPML / String Translation reflect in the Settings and frontend?
