This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You are trying to translate a page using WPML with 'translate everything automatically' set to active, but changes made in the original language do not appear in the Translation Dashboard. Additionally, you encountered errors such as 'ATE Server Communication – Service Unavailable' and 'AMS Server Communication – Api error missing resource: No sitekey found for this website'.
Solution:
First, try duplicating the page to see if this resolves the issue. If this does not help, we recommend navigating to WPML->Support->Troubleshooting and clicking on the following buttons:

  • Synchronize translators and translation managers with ATE
  • Synchronize local job IDs with ATE jobs

These steps should help in resolving the communication issues with the ATE server and ensure that changes in the original language are properly reflected in the Translation Dashboard.

If the problem persists, it might be due to an outdated solution or a different issue not covered here. We highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If necessary, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum for further assistance.

Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate a page using WPML with 'translate everything automatically' set to active. However, changes made in the original language do not appear in the Translation Dashboard. I attempted to translate the page manually but encountered issues. Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link

Symptoms:
WPML tried to translate this page three times and failed. Error messages include 'ATE Server Communication – Service Unavailable' and 'AMS Server Communication – Api error missing resource: No sitekey found for this website'.

Questions:
Why are changes in the original language not appearing in the Translation Dashboard?
How can I resolve the 'WPML tried to translate this page three times and failed' error?

Hello,

I have enabled the private reply feature for you.

I would also suggest that you send the URL of the page you are attempting to translate so that I can review it.

I eagerly anticipate your response.

Thank you,

Hello there,

The issue should be fixed now, can you please check.

I updated the page with a small change and it worked for me.

Look forward to your reply.

Thanks

Thanks for your quick reply. It seems to be working on our test page now – very strange, I have tried multiple times to make a small change but it did't work.

On our live site, however, it is still not working. The new translation does not show up in Translation Management and there is still the error when trying to translate it manually.

Hello there,

Can you duplicate the page and see if it helps, if not, I would need login details for the live site to test.

Further, please navigate to WPML->Support->Troubleshooting and proceed to click on the following two buttons:
Synchronize translators and translation managers with ATE
Synchronize local job IDs with ATE jobs

Let me know if this helps.

Thanks

Hi, I clicked the buttons but it didn't work. Duplicating the page, however, worked very well – the page showed up in Translation Dashboard and was translated correctly.

I suppose that means I just have to link the new duplicated page in our menus and everything should be fine?
