Background of the issue:
I am trying to resolve an issue with the WPML plugin on my WordPress site, hidden link. I noticed errors in the plugin logs and issues with page access. The plugin indicates that I am using an unregistered version, although my WPML account shows support until February 2025.

Symptoms:
wpml: Unable to register: Site key not matching. The plugin list says I am using an unregistered version of WPML. I am experiencing page not found errors for certain links.

Questions:
Can you let us know since when WPML reported the lost access from our WordPress site?

Hello,

WPML must be re-registered after every website migration or after changing the domain or domain provider.

1) Go to https://wpml.org/de/account/websites/

2) If the site URL is already registered, delete it from the list.

3) Now enter the site URL again. This creates a new site key.

4) Click on "Show key" and copy it.

5) Enter the key under Plugins > Install > Commercial (tab) to re-register WPML. If WPML is still registered here, de-register it first.

If the problem persists, please let me know.

Best regards
Andreas

Please try this:

1) Go to https://wpml.org/de/account/websites/

2) If the site URL is already registered, delete it from the list.

3) Now enter the site URL again. This creates a new site key.

4) Click on "Show key" and copy it.

5) Enter the key under Plugins > Install > Commercial (tab) to register WPML.

Hi Andrea,

For what i can understand you instruct me to repeat the same procedure, one more time...

I have recreated a key from WPML for the second time.

Went to WordPress and did the plugin install ---> Commercial and register and the same error is appearing.

"Unable to register: Site key not matching"

I am attaching an image.

What next steps i can follow to solve this.

Your help is appreciated.

Regards,
Felipe
