Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate pages/posts on hidden link using WPML and Crowdin. Crowdin has been contacted regarding untranslated strings and issues with HTML code in .xliff files. Crowdin cannot fix files with strings like once they are sent. I need to ensure the .xliff files are sent cleanly to Crowdin.

Symptoms:
The machine translation pre-translation stage in Crowdin sometimes leaves strings untranslated. Additionally, some .xliff files do not flow back to WPML, appearing illegible.

Questions:
How can I ensure the .xliff files are sent cleanly to Crowdin?
Why do some .xliff files not flow back to WPML and appear illegible?
