Background of the issue:
I have been waiting for over a month for a resolution to my issue. I am trying to resolve a problem that occurred after updating the VikWP plugin on my site hidden link. I have been following the documentation and forum topic at https://wpml.org/forums/topic/problem-after-vikwp-plugin-update.

Symptoms:
The issue remains unresolved despite the ticket being closed.

Questions:
Why was my ticket closed without resolving the issue?
What steps should I take to fix the problem after the VikWP plugin update?
