Although pages appeared translated in the WPML dashboard, the WordPress pages dashboard still showed a '+' sign indicating untranslated pages. Additionally, when trying to synchronize the menu, multiple pages were highlighted as not translated. Solution: We accessed the client's site and utilized the cleanup tools available under WPML > Support > Troubleshooting section. This action likely resolved issues related to database connections or configurations. After running these tools, we successfully saved translations for two pages, and the issue with the '+' sign and menu synchronization appeared resolved.
