curtE

Background of the issue:
I’ve added the following shortcode to a text box to display a LinkedIn feed on my website: [linkedin_feed_grid feed_id="837c7510-8e74-4116-92cf-a94882ff537a"]. I want to know if this shortcode-generated LinkedIn content can be translated using WPML.

Symptoms:
I'm unsure what this type of content is called or where to locate it in the WPML string translation documentation.

Questions:
Can this type of shortcode output be translated using WPML?
What’s the best way to translate shortcode-generated content with WPML?

Hello there,

The short answer is no. WPML can only translate content that's directly on your website. Since the content is being pulled from LinkedIn, it will show on the language provided by LinkedIn.
