Background of the issue:
I just added 'credits as I go' to my account because the AI translations stopped. I want to get the last translations and make it continue translating until it is finished.

Symptoms:
The AI translations did not start after adding 'credits as I go'. In the WPML administration under 'translations', I only find around 30 products, although I have around 140-150 products, so a lot is missing.

Questions:
How do I get the last translations and make it continue translating until it is finished?

Your AI assistant has tried a few things. The settings are all right. The plug ins that were a problem are deactivated. I have updated to the latest version - and I have signed up for credit as I go - to get translations. But I still do not get any. Please help!

Hello,

According to our system, your site has an active subscription for "Pay As You Go".

Translations that are completed do not, by default, show up on WPML > Translation Dashboard, unless you reset the filters.

Could it be that you configured WPML to publish translations after review?

Please veorfy if there are reviews available at WPML > Translations.

Once the review is completed, the translations will be published.

Hi Andreas, Nothing has changed. There are still only 3 pages of translations (20 a page) and around 100 products are still missing in "translations", so the translations are not completed. I have not published anything yet after reviewing as I want to have everything ready before publishing. I do not know what you mean with "I should reset my filters". What is "resetting filters"? Just a hint concerning support in general: You should give us a message via mobile or email, when you have replied the support ticket. I close down the ticket if I do not get a message within 10-15 minutes and open only if I get notified. Otherwise I assume you do not reply.
So my question: How do I get your system to complete the translation? step by step, please.

To clarify the backup point: your server’s automatic backups are perfectly fine. We do not need a forced backup from your side. Once we have access, we can proceed safely without adding any extra work for you.

At this stage, the fastest and most efficient way for us to help is to log in and check the configuration directly. Many WPML-related issues can be diagnosed and fixed within just a few steps once we can see the setup inside your site.

If you can please share temporary WordPress admin access (username + password) and WP admin URL, we’ll be able to move forward quickly and resolve this for you.

Let’s start by fixing the issue with villafliser.dk. When I visit that URL, I get this message.

This site can't be reached
Check if there is a typo in villafliser.dk.

I noticed you’re trying to use different domains for each language. I hope you’ve set those sites up as mentioned in this guide: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/language-setup/language-url-options/how-to-use-wpml-with-different-domains-per-language/.

A quick way to check if the domains are set up correctly is to disable WPML once and check both URLs. It should show the same content without any redirections.

If it doesn’t work, I suggest you reach out to your hosting provider and ask them for help.

Once the domain works, I’ll continue to test the other issues.

Hi Shekhar,
Everything has been testet several times since monday. I do not reach out to you unless I have not tried everything - for hours and hours. As described I have also tried to find work arounds - but now I need your help. Please take it serious. As per threads on the internet I am not the only one to have this header problem: TT4 with WPML. So by now I guess WPML should have found a way to solve it. Thank you very much.

I haven't started testings header problem yet as I can't view the site in secondary languages domain, is it okay for you to change the language url format to directories to test this further?

Hi Shekhar,
That you cannot view the site in secondary languages domain (danish) - is one of the problems you are supposed to fix. - I already described this problem to you. Please do what is necessary to fix the problems, which are: view the site in danish, fix that the danish site will be able to show later on, fix the language switcher, fix the header, full width in the danish (second language) header, logo in the header etc. All that makes the danish site different in the structure to the English site and that keeps it from showing correctly.
I am not sure what you mean with "to change the language url format to directories" - but please go ahead. As long as you do not leave the page afterwards in a state that is complicated to me - and where I have to find out what you actually did. Or even a state where the site is worse off as it is now.
When fixing, could you please describe to me what you did afterwards. That would be a great help to understand the issue - and for me to fix similar problems myself further on.

The domain hidden link isn’t working. This is something your hosting provider or domain services provider should take care of.

I will now change the language format of the site to directories, it will now work as
hidden link - English, hidden link - Danish

Hi there,

I’ve got some good news! With the new URL settings, the language switcher is showing up properly, and the logo is showing too.

I did notice a small issue with the Danish site header. It’s because the menu items text is a bit shorter in English compared to Danish. Since it’s shorter, it shows in a single row on English, but it’s breaking the layout on Danish.

There are few options here:
- Reduce the gap for menus in both languages
- Reduce one items from the menus
- Reduce the text translations for menu items.

Hi,
Thank you for your help so far. But we are not done.
Concerning the options for header menue, I will keep that in mind and change accordingly. But for now the villafliser.dk must first be established.
I definitely need the villafliser.dk domain - it is not acceptable to use handmadetilesbyvilla.com/da - as my clients in Denmark have only known villafliser.dk for 10 years. Also it MUST relate to a danish domain for the following reasons: - in the last weeks - where only handmadetilebyvilla.com has been working, people in Denmark believe that the site is not danish - and therefore do not want to buy from my company. It is essentiel that the villafliser.dk works - also with header, logo and everything.
I asked Simply (the server provider) to look into it. They said that there might have been a small issue with DNS with villafliser.dk. They have fixed that now. So hopefully that was the cause for the problems.
This means:
As I do not know what you have been changing, please reset the homepage to the original villafliser.dk domain and make it work with villafliser.dk. That should definitely be possible - and as I mentioned - absolutely necessary for my company. Handmadetilesbyvilla.com/da is not acceptable.
