Hello, thank you for your advice. I made a staging site where I did exactly what you recommended. Nothing improved the synched footer menu items. Only when I switched to another theme did the menu kind come back (obviously apart from the astra features of the menu - the items that don't synch are using Astar widgets) - so it is a comptibility issue with Astra? Do you have any advice what I can do about that? WPML and Astra are advertising full compatibility.
The staging site is a mess now as I am testing the other theme. However, one other issue remains: I may have accidentally stuck the whole translated text of the translated 'term and conditions' page into the title of that page. I can get into the translation (see the screenshots below) but where do I find the title that is displayed in the footer menu? (Under shipping costs)

May thanks for your advice,
Klaus
Whole content has been added to the menu navigation levels as translations creating the issue, I removed it and it's working properly for me, can you confirm?
I have made the changes on the live site too. hidden link
Thank you. That was an error or something I did? Would be good to know in case it happens again.
Either way - it still leaves the main issue on the WPML menu synch open. The menu on the production site is not synched. I switched the staging site back to Astra and the menu is as it was after the wpml synch. I simply don't know how to proceed from here. Should I give up on menu synching? Is it an Astra issue? Between Asra and WPML - do you have any advice how to deal with this?
I synched the site again to the staging site and then did a new WPML menu-synch.
There is still on item in the footer that in the English version doesn' react to the css that gives all other elements their colour. In fact - it does the red on hover, which is also extra CSS. I Deleted and added that item before the synch - just to try that. It's the top item of the right column: 'Shipping Costs' showiung fine in the German version 'Versandkosten'.
I the main menu under 'Xeuxis Classics' I use invisible product tags to head the columns, using Astra Pro Mega-menu. These product tags don't show in the english menu, hence everything is shown in the first column. I checked the translation status and the tags are translated (see screenshot).
Do you have any advice how to fix that?
Best,
Klaus
