Background of the issue:
I am trying to not have already translated variations randomly disappear and therefore be impossible to buy. The issue can be seen on this page: hidden link. Video links for reference: hidden link and hidden link.
Symptoms:
No variations in the English translation. Sometimes re-saving the original (German) or the translation (English) works, but there is no consistent pattern. Troubleshooting was run but had no effect.
Questions:
Why are the translated variations randomly disappearing?
How can I ensure that all variations remain visible in the English translation?
What steps can I take to troubleshoot this issue effectively?
Here is the ticket. I will need to closely examine your website. Therefore, I will require temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to a test site where the problem has been replicated, if possible. This will enable me to provide better assistance and determine if any configurations need to be modified.
Please note that it is important to have a backup for security purposes and to prevent any potential data loss. You can use the UpdraftPlus plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/updraftplus/) to fulfill your backup requirements.
Your upcoming reply will be treated with confidentiality and will only be visible to you and me.
✙ To resolve the issue, I may need your consent to deactivate and reactivate plugins and the theme, as well as make configuration changes on the site if necessary. This emphasizes the significance of having a backup.
I've reviewed your staging site using this link: hidden link, and most of the products in English are displaying the correct variations.
Is this issue isolated to specific products? I need to demonstrate this to our 2nd Tier Support and, if possible, provide a method to replicate the issue so they can investigate further on your behalf.
At the time of the database dump many had already been fixed. That's why I included an example in my last message and said to look at the ones on the last pages.
First, I executed the "Sync products variations" function located at hidden link . Following that, I navigated to WPML > Support > Troubleshooting and executed the options as shown in the attached screenshot.
Following these steps, the issue has been resolved. Please inform me if the problem reoccurs so I can investigate further or escalate it to our 2nd Tier Support for further examination. Currently, there are no ongoing issues that require escalation to our 2nd Tier Support.
