This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You are experiencing a 'redirect too many times' error when trying to access the French version of your site. This issue occurs because the French language is set to 'Hidden' in your WPML settings.
Solution:
To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
1. Navigate to 'Users > Profile' in your WordPress Dashboard.
2. Under 'WPML language settings', check the 'Display hidden languages' checkbox.
3. Save the changes.
This will allow you to access posts and pages in the hidden language as an admin. When the content is ready for other users, you can make the language visible again by adjusting the settings in 'WPML > Languages > Hide Language'.

If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it seems outdated, we recommend opening a new support ticket. Also, check the related known issues and ensure you have the latest versions of themes and plugins installed. For further assistance, please visit our support forum.

Hello There,
Thanks for contacting WPML Support.

I understand the issue you're experiencing. The reason you're being redirected to the default language page is that the French language is currently set to "Hidden." When a language is hidden, its posts and pages are not accessible.

If you want to keep the language hidden for other users but still access the posts/pages of the hidden language as an admin, please follow these steps:

- Please go to "Users > Profile" from your WordPress Dashboard
- Under "WPML language settings", Check the "Display hidden languages" checkbox and save the changes.

After that, you should be able to access the posts/pages in the hidden language. When the content is ready for other users, you can unhide the language by going to the "WPML > Languages > Hide Language" section.

I hope it helps. If you need further assistance in this matter, feel free to let me know. I'll be happy to help.

Best regards,
Prosenjit

Thanks, Prosenjit! I feel a little dumb now! I had the check box checked but was looking at it in incognito mode.

Sheesh!

Thanks again,

Dave
