Please refer to my screenshot, I build my site without ssl locally. after I purchase a hosting with ssl, I move my site to there, I found some of the js or css were loaded using http, how can I force all to be loaded using https?
Here is the ticket. I would need to take a closer look at your site. So I would need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed
Your following answer will be private, which means only you and I have access to it.
✙ I would need your permission to de-activate and re-activate Plugins and the Theme and to change configurations on the site if required. This is also a reason the backup is critical.
could you please whatsapp me at 85292615204 if it is ready, I may not in front of PC today and I have to report to my client, by the way, I did only backup the database, I assume there is no file was changed need.
I have feedback and our 2nd Tier Support mentioned some steps to check in your server PHPmyadmin database. Are you able to grant access to your server PHPmyadmin database so that I could check?
Looks like the issue is still there even after performing the workaround shared by our 2nd Tier Support. I will check with them again and will come back to you as quickly as possible.
Our 2nd Tier Support checked and this is the feedback I got.
I noticed there is a file "hidden link"
DO note that I visit it in https when I open it - it displays phpinfo().
However, if you check "$_SERVER['SCRIPT_URI']" there it returns: "hidden link" note it is http
So, I'd say that this might be something with the server configuration perhaps?
Additionally, I see "$_ENV['SERVER_SOFTWARE']" being set to "Apache/2.2.15 (Cloud Linux)" so we might be dealing with Nginx reverse proxy setup.
Our 2nd Tier Support shared a workaround but it doesn't seem to work when I applied the fix. I will check with them again to see if there is anything else we can do about this.
Sorry, we would need a site snapshot to continue with the troubleshooting. Or can we have your permission to create a snapshot on our own?
We usually recommend the free Plugin “Duplicator” for this purpose.
If you already know how Duplicator works ( https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/),please skip the following steps and just send me the archive file you downloaded.
If the file is too large (more than 400M), please use the Duplicator file filters to remove the cache, the wp-uploads directory, the media, and the archive files.
Send me the link to the archive file (you probably want to use Google Drive, Dropbox, or similar services, as the snapshot file will be quite big).
Your next reply will be private, which means that only you and I will be able to see it and have access to it.
You can paste the link to the file there.
Once the problem is resolved I will delete the local site.
