zacharyG	Background of the issue: I am trying to set up automatic translations for posts on my site hidden link. The site indicates that 'The following target languages do not support automatic translations: CR English, CA French. To enable automatic translation map them to known languages.' I have already mapped them to known languages as suggested. Symptoms: The site says 'The following target languages do not support automatic translations: CR English, CA French.' Questions: Why does the site still indicate that CR English and CA French do not support automatic translations after mapping them to known languages? How can I ensure that automatic translations are set up correctly for these languages?

Are you still seeing the message saying that the languages do not support automatic translation? If so, please upload a screenshot of the problem so I can take a closer look. Additionally, please provide a screenshot of the WPML → Settings → Automatic Translation section.

WPML offers only hidden link">English as a mapping language to other variants of English languages. This mapping is used for automatic translation only. The custom variations like "CR English", select "Don't map this language" for it, as they are meant for manual translation, not for automatic translation. If the content is the same, you can duplicate the pages. More information: https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/using-automatic-translation-with-custom-languages/#mapping-a-custom-secondary-language-to-your-sites-default-language The selected translation engine does not support hidden link" target="_blank">Canadian French. You can map it to a supported language.
