Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate link-targets on all pages for duplicated content in the same language as the original. I have created a custom language for our UK customers (our default is US-English). Instead of translating, I have duplicated the content needed for our UK site. However, the internal links on the sites do not update with 'Translate Link Targets - scan and adjust links'. I would rather not do this manually since we have multiple pages and languages with multiple links on each just on this site. We are also repeating this US-English to UK-English translation for our other site later on.

Symptoms:
The internal links on the duplicated content do not update with 'Translate Link Targets - scan and adjust links'.

Questions:
How do I translate link-targets on all pages for duplicated content in the same language as original?
How do I best create a separate translation from US-English to UK-English?
Is there any other way to update the links without doing it manually?
Is there a better way than to create a custom language and duplicating the content for US-English to UK-English translation?

Hi,

I tested it on my local test site, and it should work. If the posts exist, then the links in the duplicated content should work. I created a post in the default language on my test site and duplicated it. Then, in the default language, I created another post with a link to the first post. I then duplicated that second post with the link. When I tried the link on the second duplicated post, it went to the first duplicated post.

Can you please describe the process you take?

Also, if you need further help with this issue, please share your site's Debug information. You can read about it here.
