Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate my mini cart, cart, and checkout on a site under development using WPML. I have tried to use 'plugins and localization' to add everything related to e-commerce.

Symptoms:
I cannot find the labels in string translation.

Questions:
How can I translate the mini cart, cart, and checkout labels using WPML?
Why don't the labels appear in string translation despite using 'plugins and localization'?

While one of my teammates addresses your ticket, I will guide you through the initial debugging steps.

Have you tried locating the strings using the following method?

1. Go to WPML → String Translation.
2. Enable the option 'Look for strings while pages are rendered'.
3. Navigate to the page where the untranslated strings appear.
4. Return to WPML → String Translation and check if the specified string has been registered.
5. If it has, proceed to translate the string.

Thanks!
I tried to enable "look for strings while pages are rendered" but unfortunately it had no effect on the missing strings.

Hi There,
I hope you're doing well.

I have taken over this ticket and will be happy to assist you in this matter.

After reviewing the WPML Debug Info, I noticed that WPML, its add-ons, and WooCommerce are not currently updated on your site. Since each update includes important fixes and new features, it’s essential to keep these plugins up to date. Please update the following plugins to their latest versions.

- WooCommerce -> 9.4.1
- WPML -> 4.6.13
- String Translation - 3.2.14
- WooCommerce Multilingual -> 5.3.8

After updating, ensure that the Cart and Checkout pages are translated. If you’re unable to see some static text in String Translation, it may require scanning. Go to "WPML > Theme and Plugins Localization" and scan both the WooCommerce plugin and the Porto theme. Once the scan is completed, try searching in String translation and proceed to translate if appears in the list.

Please check and let me know how it goes. I'll be happy to help if you need further assistance in this matter.

Best regards,
Prosenjit
