When will this issue be resolved? Also, we can access the theme through another friend who handles theme work. So, we don't have any problem with theme access.

Hello,

I can sadly not give any promise about when or if this request will be resolved.

As I explained on chat, the issue seems to be custom theme-related and we do not cover such requests.

I only offered you on my behalf to have a look into this and for this, I need to create a copy of the site, run tests, and debug which takes time.

I will try to have a look into the problem within the next hour, but if you will not hear back from me today, please take kindly note, that I do not work on Sundays and Mondays.

Best regards
Andreas

Creating a package of your site with Duplicator PRO seems to work but is for some reason taking extremely long, and the package has not even reached 50MB in more than 30 minutes. I have canceled the build process now, as my shift for today is over and I will be back on Tuesday.

---

Header issue:

1) I went to WPML > String Translation > Translate texts in admin screens and added the following string to String Translation:

[theme_mods_visitandmedcare][reobiz_option]header_layout

I then translated it using the same value "style5" which should ensure that the same header layout from the Customizer is applied to all pages.

This still does not solve the issue and random header layouts are applied in different languages. This issue needs to be investigated further and is theme-related.

---

Footer issue:

I tried to translate the footer menu and the footer text while on chat and the changes are not showing up on Frontend - this might also very likely be a theme issue and should be investigated further.

----

About Revolution Slider:

I fixed the issues as far as possible on chat. For some reason, you need to make sure to set the slider option on all pages on the WordPress Editor.

The fact that currently no text is displayed on the sliders seems not to be related to WPML, as I can see this issue also on the site default language while having the WPML Option inside Slider Revolution disabled.

---

Further, I have downloaded the Custom Theme and the Redux Framework plugin from your site and installed them on the following test site:

hidden link

Until now I can not confirm the issue regarding header and footer on this test site, which means that on your site the issue might be caused by another plugin.

You may use this test site to cooperate and try recreating the issue that is occurring on your site so that we can take further steps. I can only escalate issues, that can be recreated on a new WordPress install or related to a bug inside WPML. I can not escalate issues related to custom themes or custom plugins.

---

Further steps:

I suggest that you create a staging site and try running the website with minimal setup to see if the problems will persist:

1) Disable plugins

a) Disable additional plugins that have nothing to do with Redux Framework and WPML.
- Does the theme now work as expected?

b) Disable WPML and its addon - do you still not see any text on Slider Revolution? If so, the issue is not WPML-related.

2) If the problem goes away when deactivating most of the plugins, start reactivating the plugins one at a time or reactivate them in small groups. In this way, check when the problem occurs again to know the plugin that is causing the problem.

3) In regards to Slider Revolution, if the cause of the problem is still unclear after deactivating all plugins, please switch to a default theme like Twenty Twenty One and run another test with a new page.

Once you have been able to identify the cause, and you can link it to WPML, we can then attempt to resolve the issue and then escalate it internally.

Have you been able to identify which plugin is causing the compatibility issue?

Sorry for the misunderstanding, but I asked you to create a staging site and run those tests, as I was unable to take a copy of your site (download is extremely slow).

Could you please provide a staging site for runnings those tests?

If you need assistance with setting up such a site, please consult your hosting support.

For example, the header comes through very well in Italian, but for some reason, it gets distorted in other languages? If it looks good in Italian but not in others, I don't think it's plugin-related.

The header issue seems to be theme-related.

You can set various header layouts inside the Customizer and I see random layouts for translated content.

The Customizer will always only work in the site's default language and we can translate strings and options with WPML String Translation.

Anyway, I did not find a way to solve this issue but translated the header layout theme option in WPML > String Translation.

I can offer a WPML test site on which you can install the theme and we test if we can recreate the issue there from scratch.

Would this be possible?

I managed to fix the issue by reducing the menu names to a single line in each language.

Even though it's set up, the slider still isn't appearing in Romanian and Spanish. In fact, the text and button aren't showing up in any language. Can we check this?

Hello,

I can sadly not longer reach the login form of your website.

The private reply form is enabled again so that you can provide me with the correct URL and the credentials for accessing your site.

I will then try to take a copy of the site using the plugin "All In One WP Migration" to investigate the Slider Revolution issue.

Best regards
Andreas

I am sadly still getting a 404 on this login URL.

If you are using a plugin to change the login directory, then please disable it for now, so that I can access the site.

Let me know on this ticket, once you are done with this task.

I've further enabled a private message for submitting the debug information for this support ticket. Please see this link for how to get this information from your site and give it to us:
