[Waiting for user confirmation] When translating our custom post type "agenda", the translation keep switching back to the WordPre...
This is the technical support forum for WPML - the multilingual WordPress plugin.
Everyone can read, but only WPML clients can post here. WPML team is replying on the forum 6 days per week, 22 hours per day.
I am trying to translate the 'Agenda' custom post type with the WPML Translation Editor.
When translating our custom post type 'agenda', the translation keeps switching back to the WordPress editor instead of the WPML Translation Editor. Instead of opening in the WPML Translation Editor, it opens in the WordPress editor.
Why does the translation switch back to the WordPress editor instead of the WPML Translation Editor?
How can I ensure that the 'Agenda' custom post type opens in the WPML Translation Editor?

Hi there!
This is Paola, I hope you're doing well!
Could you please go to one of the Agenda posts in the original language, click Edit, and make sure to select the WPML Translation Editor option? Once selected, please apply this setting to all the Agenda posts.
To make it easier, I’ve recorded a short video for you: hidden link
Let me know once you’ve tried, or if you need any help!
Thanks for your response! We do keep selecting the WPML Translation Editor here, and we've tried several options (for this post only, all posts, or all of the site's content), but it keeps automatically switching back to the default WordPress editor regardless.

Thanks for your response. This is indeed what we keep doing, but new agenda items still keep reverting to the "WordPress Editor" instead of the "WPML Translation Editor".
Is there a way to completely disable the WordPress Editor?
Unfortunately, it still isn't working. For example, when I duplicate an agenda item in the original language (Dutch), save it as a draft, and then click on the English translation, the WordPress Editor opens again (see: hidden link).
