Hi. When using your plugin there is a high load on the server.
This happens when updating products or pages. What to do?

Hi there,

The performance issue is reported to the second-tier support.

I will get back here as soon as I have an update.

Thanks.

Hi there,

The second-tier support asked me to check the website on our server, I copied the website to our server and there seems to be no problem. You can login with the same info here:

Would you please test yourself there?

Thanks.

I tried updating a few product records and they started updating slowly. For example, it took 40 seconds to update a product record

Hi there,

Thank you for checking that. It is normal for that server as it does not have the cache and optimization.

You can test and see that even without WPML plugin the wait time is in the same ballpark.

Thanks.

Hi there,

The second tier support asked if you could create a copy of your website on your server, they can double check there as the issue can not be replicated on our server.

There is no guarantee but they are willing to take a look there. Please set the next reply as private and provide the website copy/staging on the server that has the issue so they can take a look.

Thank you.

Thank you for the login info of a site copy on your server.

Our second-tier team will check to see if there is any point that can be suggested for your server.

Thanks.

Hi there,

I have this message from the second tier support:

On the staging, I was able to confirm that the load time for saving a product was 6 seconds when using only WooCommerce.
When using only WC, WPML, ST and WCML saving took 12-15 seconds.

After running WPML > Support > Troubleshooting > Synchronize post taxonomies for "Products" and "Variations" the load time was down to 6 seconds, when testing only with WC and WPML plus add-ons.

At this point zero impact by WPML after running the troubleshooting options.

So please follow the steps mentioned there and get back to us with the result.

Thanks.

Please go to WordPress Dashboard > WPML > Support.

Click the "Troubleshooting" link.

Select Products at the top (according to the screenshot) and click the button.

After the process is finished, do the same by selecting Variations.

Thanks.

Thanks for the screenshot. I did as you said. That solved the problem, but literally for two days. Now it's happening again and synchronization doesn't work anymore

Hi there,

Would you please give more details information?

How much is different now? Give us some measurements so we can understand how different it is.

Test it with only WPML (and wpml addons) and Woocommerce plugin, and test it without WPML and only Woocommerce.

I mentioned your general findings to the second-tier for now. But I will need more detailed info.

Thanks.
