This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is trying to synchronize variable products using the WooCommerce Multilingual & Multicurrency plugin after updating WPML. They encountered issues with the synchronization process where the count of synchronized items remains at zero, and the changes are not reflected even after refreshing the page.
Solution:
We explained that the synchronization of attributes only works for global attributes, which are created at Products > Attributes and can be translated at WPML > Taxonomy Translation. If the client used custom attributes (created directly on the products), they need to update the translations for each affected product individually to synchronize them. We recommended verifying if the attributes that need synchronization are global or custom and suggested updating the translations of the affected products to resolve any issues with missing attributes or variations on translated products.

If this solution does not apply to your situation, or if it seems outdated, we recommend opening a new support ticket. We also advise checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Background of the issue:
I'm trying to synchronize variable products while troubleshooting the WooCommerce Multilingual & Multicurrency plugin. I updated WPML and received a message about translation controls moving. However, I am unsure where to synchronize the variations now or how to do it.

Symptoms:
The synchronization process starts but goes to zero, and after refreshing the page, everything remains unchanged. Only the image synchronization is at zero. Deactivating WP Rocket did not resolve the issue.

Questions:
Where should I synchronize the variations now?
How should I synchronize the variations?

Hello,

It is expected that the count value of this screen will stay identical, as it will always display the total amount of global attributes.

Global attributes are created at Products > Attributes and translated at WPML > Taxonomy Translation.

If you use custom attributes, that were created directly on the products, then the only way to translate/sync them is by updating the translations for the affected products.

Are the attributes that you are trying to sync global attributes or custom attributes?

Best regards
Andreas

Hi Andreas
Thank you very much for your reply.

At first I did the attributes on each product, not globally. Then I was alerted by wpml, that when this is the case, we have to synchronize in the WooCommerce Multilingual & Multicurrency plugin. The values I've uploaded photos of are still the values I used to add one by one.
In the meantime, I've changed and started creating general attributes.
However, when it comes to syncing images, it always stays at zero, everything else stays as it is in the message and I don't know to what extent it has synced.

This is because Google shooping gives some variation errors, which are correct on the site but for some reason it doesn't identify them. I thought it might be due to this synchronization.

I end up not knowing if everything is done or not, which is why I asked. Because it will take some time to change all the attributes.

And if it's the global attributes, do I still have to synchronize?

Many thanks

The sync option for attributes will only work for global attributes.

Do you see any issues on your site with missing attributes or variations on translated products?

If so, please try to update the translations of the affected products and verify if this solves the issue.
