Background of the issue:
I have a multisite with 2 sub sites with different domains and WPML is network activated. I am trying to assign translation credits to the subsites for auto translation.

Symptoms:
I can't assign translation credits to the subsites. Even if I manually add the domain to WPML and add credits the subsite don't get the credits.

Questions:
How can I assign translation credits to subsites in a multisite setup (WPML network activated) with different domains?

We connected the subsites with the main site using a migration code to share its credits (https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/automatic-translation-subscription-for-multiple-sites/#how-to-connect-your-sites).
