I had already opened a ticket, which was handled by Lauren, but unfortunately it was closed. However, we are still having problems with the translation in connection with Elementor.
I checked your last ticket with Lauren, and saw that you were able to fix the issue with the custom XML and that the changes were being reflected on translations.
What are the issues you're having right now? Please send me an example I can check.
So the problem is that I change the constant on the DE page and then want to translate it for the other languages, but unfortunately WPML doesn't recognize the change and so I can't translate it for other languages. But it has worked before.
The workaround is to add a space, save, test, and hope that it is recognized as a change so that I can translate the languages. I usually have to do this for every language.
Can you please tell me exactly which constant it is, and on which page/post I can see it? I'm not familiar with your website, so the more detailed the information is, the better. I need a clear way to reproduce and check the issue.
Also, since the last ticket was closed, I do not have access to the website anymore. Can you please share it again?
The required fields can be found below the comments section. The information you enter is private, i.e. only you and I can see it and have access to it.
I may need to replicate your website locally. To do this, I need to temporarily install a plugin called "Duplicator" or "All in One WP Migration" on your website. This will allow me to create a copy of your website and content. Once the issue is resolved, I will delete the local website. Let me know if this works for you.

Sure. Please explain how I can reproduce the issue, and send me access to a staging/dev website where I can check it.

I suspect that the issue is related to WP Rocket, as issues like those are usually related to caching and performance plugins. I've tested on the dev website, and now the issue is not occuring anymore. Let me share the steps I took:
1. First I reproduced the issue with all plugins active. Changes made to page's content weren't identified by the WPML Translation Editor immediately.
2. Then, I deactivated WP Rocket and the changes were immediately shown in ATE, as expected.
3. I reactivated WP Rocket, and the issue didn't occur anymore.
This is a strong indication that the issue is related to WP Rocket. By default, everytime after editing a page, you should clear all caches. In your production website, please test the following:
1. Make a change to a page's content;
2. Clear all caches;
3. Check ATE;
Let me know what the results are. With those steps, the issue shouldn't occur anymore.
Unfortunately, I have to say that it's not working at the moment.
The customer has made changes here on the live site. The button text at the top has been changed. The cache has been cleared, but unfortunately it's still not working.
You are welcome to log into our live system using the same login details and test this using the example. The page can be found in the screenshot.
