Tell us what you are trying to do?
I have translated the post and want to edit a translation, but when I open a new tab where the advanced editor should be all I see is a blank page. It seemed to be loading the content, but then it turned blank. After I closed this tab the pencil opposite the language I tried to edit turned to a gear. I have translated this post to 6 languages and it happened to each of them. When I edit the original post it says that I should not edit it because it's being translated to all the languages I have already, seemed to be successfully, translated it to.
However, I can see the translated content on the front end.

I have followed all these steps, the icon opposite the secondary language turned into a circle of 2 arrows, but when I tried to update this translation the page was blank again and the circle turned into gear. The changes I made in the original language did not apply.

Hi there,
Thank you for your message.

1.- Please share the URL of the post in the original language

2.- I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take a better look at the issue. You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it.

Our Debugging Procedures

I will be checking various settings in the backend to see if the issue can be resolved. Although I won't be making changes that affect the live site, it is still good practice to back-up the site before providing us access. In the event that we do need to debug the site further, I will duplicate the site and work in a separate, local development environment to avoid affecting the live site.

Thank you for sharing the information requested.

I followed the steps described in my message: https://wpml.org/forums/topic/editing-translation-2/#post-14511795 and I was able to edit the translated posts.

Can you confirm that the issue is solved?

I still can not see the content when I try to edit the translation, but this time after following the steps listed above the circle has turned into a pencil, not a gear. What can I be doing wrong? I have cleared the cache in WPML, my browser, and all the entries related to the site.

I can't say what steps you might be missing. If you'd like, I can create a video displaying the steps I follow. Could that be useful for you?
