Background of the issue:
I redesigned the page hidden link and I'm trying to translate it into Dutch, Spanish, and Catalan using WPML. I followed the troubleshooting steps in the WPML documentation.
Symptoms:
The translation process seems to get stuck in a loop or only partially translates the content, and I'm unable to save the page. When I open the page by selecting the Dutch flag, it loads the old content instead of the redesigned version.
Questions:
How can I properly translate the page so that the new design is applied and saved correctly in all languages?
Why does the Dutch version of the page show the old content instead of the redesigned version?
Thank you for your patience and cooperation. I moved to this ticket as you requested during the chat.
I was able to find and fix the problem. Perhaps site was previously migrated and there was a mismatching record update in our systems. I've fixed and was able to add the Dutch translation (hidden link).
You can now add other translations of the page. Just click + for a language and complete the translation.
For your other question related to those colorful markers, please see this guide https://wpml.org/faq/how-to-apply-formatting-markers/ for details. There are also videos (as well as text details) for understanding.
