Hi. I have a problem with breadcrumb. On my original English page I have disabled it but by default WPML is making it active to my translated page. If I change the language to English, breadcrumb is turned off but when I change to Finnish language, it's turned on. From the page settings breadcrumb is turned off.

This same happens to all pages after translation. Any idea how to turn breadcrumb off also for the translated pages?

Thanks is advance!

Hello, welcome to the WPML support Forum!

While you are waiting for one of my colleagues to take this ticket and work on it, let me provide you with first debugging steps or if I can perhaps help with the issue quickly.

Could you please give us more details on how this breadcrumb is being added? It's by a theme or plugin?

It is possible that the plugin uses different options for each language. Please try the following:
- Go to the plugin settings page (where you can enable or disable the breadcrumb)
- Switch the language to Finnish using the language switcher at the top admin bar
- Disable the breadcrumb on the finish language

Please let us know if it worked for you.

My issue is resolved now. Thank you!

Thanks Diego for guiding me to the correct direction. I manage to solve the issue by following these steps:
1. First go to WP Admin --> Pages (all pages view)
2. Change the language to Finnish from the WP top bar
3. Click Edit for the translated page where the problem is
4. It give's a warning but choose "Edit Anyway"
5. For some reason the breadcrumb was turned on for the translated page by default, so I turned it off
