I am trying to edit my translated pages via ux builder. This is necessary for adjusting hyperlinks and fonts and styling.
Everything works, in backend there are still the translated texts but the live page translates texts back to the original text. This happens when I work through ux builder in backend
The website is still in maintenance so can't show a link.
I will add the first reply before this ticket is assigned to one of my colleagues.
You can not mix and match the Advanced Translation Editor translation mode and the manual translation.
With Advanced Translation Editor, you do not have access to UX Builder and as soon as you make a change in the original language, the changes you have done in translation will be overwritten.
If you use Advanced Translation Editor then do not access the translated page via UX builder, instead, in the original language add links with complete URL and not relative URLs and follow the steps below to make sure links are translated:
- Go to "WordPress Dashboard > WPML > Settings >Translate Link Targets".
- Click the "Scan now and adjust links" button and wait for the process to finish.
If you need access to UX Builder on the translated page, please use the manual mode for that page. That means you will need to do translation for that page from scratch as manual mode and an advanced translation editor are not compatible.
